This is "Ichigi Ichiri-zuka," a milestone, on Route 42 around
the mouth of Ichigi-gawa river. |

Before get to Hayatama-taisha Shrine, you have to cross Kumano-gawa River,
a part of the World Heritage. There are two big bridges now, but formerly
people cross by ships, so there were some ferries on riverside. |

This is the destination of this trail, Kumano Hayatama-taisha Shrine, one
of "Kumano Sanzan." |
